SUPER SATURDAYS

Super Saturdays is a monthly weekend programme designed with our working FOM members in mind.

Super Saturdays features a variety of cultural and social activities including lectures, art, city exploration, films and theatre events. Upcoming events are posted here and also announced in the FOM Flash.

We have a super team in place, but always need more volunteers. If you are interested in also being super on (and before) a Saturday, please contact Lynn Biondi at 8399 5785 or lynnb@fom.sg.

Commemorating the 70th Anniversary Fall of Singapore, and back by popular demand, battlefield archaeologist Jon Cooper will take participants on a guided tour of the black & white estates of Adam Park. This site saw some of the fiercest fighting of the campaign, and later served as a POW camp of major significance. This unique event also includes an opportunity for everyone to satisfy their "inner-archaeologist", by giving participants a chance to try their hands at digging for artefacts on a genuine battlefield site.
