- Looking for a new guiding challenge? Interested in Singapore's built heritage enough to want to share it? Join PMB's docent training programme. Singapore has 61 larger-than-life "artifacts" that tell stories about Singapore's development and the important people behind those walls. Beginning February 2010, PMB (Preservations Monuments Board) will be starting a 13-week course for its first docent group. Docents will participate in a foundation course on Singapore's architecture and the built heritage's placement in our memory, history and heritage--a fun-filled week of field trips to the monuments and preparation for the trail. Make history and architecture come alive for yourselves and the public. If you are interested in guiding, please write to nhb_nationalmonuments@nhb.gov.sg. Click here to download an information card and sign-up form.
