OPEN TO ALL!  Museum in Focus Tours One time only Exclusive events!

Join our FOM docents on special tours related to the Monday Morning Lecture!

When the MML is in person at the ACM (1st, 3rd and 5th Monday of the month), the Museum in Focus Tour will be at the ACM at 1pm.

When the MML is on Zoom (2nd & 4th Monday of the month), the Museum in Focus Tour will be at one of the other museums, on Wednesdays at 11.30am. These are member only registered tours.

Ganesha in Japan : Exploring the Fascinating Crossroads of Indian Deities in Japan

 
Ever wondered how Hindu deities became an integral part of Japanese culture? How has religion travelled and adapted to local environments? One of the driving forces for India’s connect with South East Asia and China was trade, the main reason for its connect with Japan was culture.
 
Expand your knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of the impact of Hindu deities and Buddha in Japanese society. We invite you to come join us @IHC for an immersive walk through our galleries and meet the artist and poets who travelled between these two nations.
