Khir Johari, of course, is well known to FOM members, as MML speaker, ES guide and writer for PASSAGE magazine and today he is recognised for writing  'The Food of Singapore Malays - Gastronomic Travels Through the Archipelago', which since its publication in 2022, has won several prestigious prizes and awards, including Best Book of the Year in Singapore, Best Asian Cuisine Cookbook and the Best Book in the World at the 28th Gourmand World Cookbook.

We are reviving the Curio Foodies Group!!!

After almost three years of COVID break, we are back. 

How does it work?

You become a member of the Foodies group for a year (November 23-October24) and we, the Foodies team, will look for an interesting, exciting, special or traditional restaurant all over town.

After signing up we will contact you closer to the outing day, usually the last Tuesday of the month, with all the information (where to meet, time etc).

We usually have a short write up of the restaurant, the foods or traditions related to the restaurant we choose.

The first outing will be on Tuesday the 28th of November 2023 and we will contact you closer to the date. 

Next meeting will be on Tuesday the 30.1.2024, and we will explore Singapore's special Chinese New Year cuisine, Yusheng.

We will share the cost of each meal.
