What is a study group?

A study group is an informal group of 12-15 FOM members who meet on Wednesday mornings to study aspects of Asian culture, history, art and religion. Each member researches a chosen topic to prepare and deliver a 30-45 minute presentation. You may use PowerPoint or any other presentation format of your choice. If you are not familiar with PowerPoint, FOM offers a small class open only to study group participants (hint: this is an easy way to acquire a new skill set, and no prior experience is needed). The study group leader(s) will provide a list of subtopics to help inspire participants, but you are free to choose any topic relevant to the main theme.
